Here’s the thing about these tubes: they run on 400V. That means you can run the wires longer without worrying about the power fading, compared to 230V systems. It keeps things stable, even when the distance is long. And get this—we pack 2500W of power into a tube that’s only 300mm long. That’s a serious amount of watt density. It heats up almost instantly. But, and this is important, that power comes with heat to manage. You’ll need to make sure your machine has the right cooling and enough breathing room around the tube. Plan for that heat, and you’re golden.
The Build: What Makes It Last
The tube is made of quartz glass, which can handle sudden temperature swings without cracking. Inside, a halogen gas cycle protects the filament, which keeps the tube lasting longer and stops it from getting that dark, weak glow. We also added a reflective coating that pushes infrared energy downward, right where you need it. More heat on the target, less waste. The connectors—R7s and Sk15—are chosen because they stay cool under pressure and hold a solid connection. When a tube needs replacing, it’s a simple swap. No fiddling around. Just pop it in and get back to work.
